James Condron

President

James is one of the industry’s greatest storytellers. He has spent more than two decades in media management, previously serving as the Senior Vice President and market manager of Connoisseur Media.

As a visionary leader, James has had continued success in building relationships and helping clients develop a one-on-one dialogue with their customers using personal and pervasive power. He has been instrumental in leading strategies for brands like— Bristol Myers Squibb, Kraft, P. C. Richard & Son, New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, Sonos, and The Paramount, one of the top live entertainment venues worldwide, where he is a partner.

He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the agency and is excited to lead the charge in building brands and creating a world-class, full-service marketing company in BCG.

James is a proud father of three and enjoys spending time with his children outside work. He is a previous graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, so don’t be surprised if you see him and his girlfriend Erin exploring all NYC offers, including visits to the finest culinary experiences.


Joe Varecha

Vice President

Joe Varecha is a creative and analytical marketing executive who enjoys telling a brand’s story with technology. He has over a decade of experience developing and leading teams to define and deliver differentiated brand experiences across all media outlets. Joe has integrated project management experience with interpersonal, communications, financial, and leadership skills. He is proficient in ROI, Paid Search, and Sales Goals and has led teams who create and curate campaigns across multiple channels in hours rather than days and weeks.

Joe has extensive experience in the role of Marketing Director, having served for Connoisseur Media, WALK 97.5, and New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. His background in radio and consumer/business communication has helped provide strategy and increase integrated campaigns.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communication from the State University of New York College at Oswego, where he played lacrosse. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey and traveling.


Ben Owens

Creative Director

Making awesome stuff is the motto for Ben Owens. And for over 30+ years, he has done so for small and big corporations alike —from Sotheby’s, Calvin Klein, Zoo York, and Victoria’s Secret, to branding and label design for the craft beverage and Rock N’ Roll industries, to leading healthcare organizations as Creative Director for an in-house agency.

Ben has a diverse background in various mediums such as fine art, illustration, advertising, digital art, and graphic design. In working with clients, he has developed strong relationships to achieve brands’ and business goals successfully.

Ben has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Painting from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a devoted husband and father of two boys. In his free time, Ben is an avid kite flyer and freshwater and surfcasting fisherman.


Mike Scanlon

Project Manager

Mike Scanlon is the Project Manager at Brand Care Group. After years of working in healthcare marketing for one of the leading practices in the Nation, Mike has established a great rapport and effective work practice with many different individuals and teams. He is skilled at solidifying relationships with clients and ensuring marketing campaigns and deliverables stay on track.

In 2016, Mike graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Communications. He held an internship at Newsday as a community media journalist.

Heavy metal music and old-school video games rock his world, as does his newlywed wife.


Sarah Gould

Communications

Sarah graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies – New Media. She has held internships in production at the Rachael Ray Show and even starred as a guest in front of a live studio audience. Sarah loves being in front of the camera. Additionally, she held an internship in marketing at the UJA-Federation of New York.

Sarah has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, working in various cosmetic medicine, general surgery, and oncology roles. She is empathetic to the patient experience and enjoys generating new ideas and devising feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems.

Sarah is a foodie at heart and a viral sensation. She can be found eating pizza on Apple's iMessage GIF app. Sarah knows what it takes to make any brand stand out.


Sam Guzman

Graphic Designer

Sam Guzman is a multi-talented graphic designer with a love for art and design. She has a passion for building brands and creating visions for their design needs. She is highly creative and skilled with various programs within the Adobe Creative Suite. Her experience goes beyond bread and butter branding needs, from top-notch illustration and animation to photography, web design, and graphic print design. Sam gets down to business, creating the most compelling and evocative brand-aware solutions.

Sam’s previous design experience includes eyewear, jewelry, wedding photography, and healthcare branding. She earned a Visual Communications: Art & Graphic Design Bachelor’s Degree from Farmingdale State College.

Sam is fluent in English and Spanish. She loves to travel, explore new cultures, and try new cuisines. She is an old soul with young eyes


Adam Datkun

PROJECT SUPERVISOR

Adam Datkun is a Marketing Specialist at Brand Care Group with a wide range of experience in creative projects.

He graduated from the State University of New York College at Oneonta with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Industry in 2018 with specific interests in Audio Arts Production and Music Theory. He started his professional career in the radio industry, where he learned audio/video production from a communications perspective as well as basic graphic design.

Adam has a demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to complex problems using his knowledge of technology and computer software. In addition, he strives for efficiency, often utilizing spreadsheet formulas to increase productivity.

He is a monster behind the guitar and enjoys music production and songwriting, even though he is a terrible singer.


Peter LiPera

Video Content Producer

Peter LiPera is the Video Content Producer at Brand Care Group with over 15 years of experience in Film & TV. He is responsible for Brand Care Group's in-house video department, which includes overseeing all aspects of production, from creation to field production, editing, and final delivery. Peter creates world-class videos that showcase clients’ brands to their highest potential.

He is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and Creator/ Producer of National Geographic Channel's reality series, "American Gypsies." In addition, Peter has traveled the world writing and directing for clients such as Honda, LEGO, Skype, Chevy, Coca Cola, and Verizon.

Peter's work has been published in prestigious periodicals such as New York Times, LA Times, Newsday, Washington Post, and Time Out Magazine. Further, Peter has pitched to numerous networks such as HBO, Showtime, Nat Geo Channel, A&E, and many more.

He has worked closely with legendary documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles which has influenced his work. He has led multiple production teams as a supervising producer, director, and coordinating producer for several television shows and commercials.

While working closely with the creative team, Peter finds the story behind the story. He believes every story is unique and should have that special voice that resonates with the brand. By collaborating with the client and talent, we structure the best version of their narrative and bring the most important storytelling elements to life.

Peter received his Masters in Documentary Film from City College of New York and his B.A. from Syracuse University in Film, where he was awarded the Michael Nelson Award. He also attended and graduated from the accelerated screenwriting program at New York Film Academy.


Caitlin Irwin

Social Media Specialist

Caitlin Irwin is a Social Media Specialist at Brand Care Group.

Caitlin has a background in graphic design and social media management. She loves working with companies on their digital presence and helping brands tell their stories through engaging visual social content to grow their following and drive sales. #socialmediastrategy

Her background in graphic design enables her to create simple yet impactful, honest, and energetic designs using various tools that visually tell our client’s stories. She enjoys managing multiple social media accounts for multiple clients and her own brand. Caitlin is a member of the Roisin Dubh Pipe Band. In addition to staying connected to her Irish roots, she enjoys photography and creating daily vlogs on skincare and home organization.

Caitlin graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications.


Citlali DelValle

Junior Graphic Designer

Citlali DelValle is a creative and passionate junior graphic designer that believes branding creates a powerful relationship between a company and its consumer.

Citlali graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications: Art & Graphic Design. Citlali interned for a leading publishing company, Little Hippo Books, where she designed a children's book series.

She enjoys reading, printmaking, and watching tv.


Dillon Score

Project Coordinator

Dillon is passionate about helping brands achieve their goals. He brings vast market knowledge and experience to align projects with business goals. Dillon works collaboratively to construct detailed work plans, manage teams, and communicates results to key stakeholders.

Dillon obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Stony Brook University with a concentration in marketing.

He is an avid traveler and practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.


Emma Vacirca

Content Coordinator

Emma has a passion for editing and copywriting.

She is a recent graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in English. At Boston University, Emma was a dedicated member of the Daily Free Press as a writer and editor. She has also held various copywriting internships.

Emma has a deep love for baking and cooking. If you can’t find her, she’s probably in the kitchen.
